A HISTORIC EVENT FOR THE INTERIOR DESIGN, FURNITURE, KITCHEN AND BATH AND LIGHTING INDUSTRY.

SEASONAL LIVING MAGAZINE PREPARES TO LAUNCH THE WORLD’S FIRST 3D WALKAROUND AND SHOPPABLE LUXURY DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE BUILT ENTIRELY IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD THAT CONTAINS AUGMENTED REALITY HIGHLIGHTS AND GOOGLE CARDBOARD GLASS VIRTUAL REALITY VIEWING CAPABILITIES.

Austin, TX, Monday, November 2, 2020
Seasonal Living Magazine’s Luxury Virtual Designer Showhouse will launch with a free professionally produced YouTube event on Thursday, December 3rd at 6 pm ET, where viewers from around the world will be able to see sneak peeks of this first of its kind virtual designer Showhouse - a collaboration between 15 sponsoring brands and 11 nationally known interior designers.

What makes it historic and the first of its kind?

Built entirely and only in the virtual world, Seasonal Living Magazine’s 20,000 square foot virtual designer Showhouse, with its 3 themes of wellness, sustainability and flexibility, is the only virtual Showhouse launched to date that includes:

  1. The ability to tour it and shop it from the comfort of home, 24/7.
  2. The ability to see 50 of the highlighted products in the viewers own home, via augmented reality.
  3. The ability to tour the home, without a computer, using Google’s VR CARDBOARD glasses.

The Virtual Showhouse was originally conceived by Gary Pettitt, the CEO and founder of the indoor/outdoor furniture, lighting and decorative accessories brand, Seasonal Living. Mr. Pettitt is also the publisher of the consumer facing shoppable digital lifestyle magazine, Seasonal Living, now 2 years old.

When the pandemic hit in early February 2020, Mr. Pettitt, like many manufacturers, was determined to find an innovative and fresh new way to support and reach his customers, design oriented consumers and interior designers.

His idea for the Virtual Showhouse was born from that need, and as his vision took shape, 15 other sponsoring brands came on board who shared in it as well as 11 participating interior designers.

The 15 sponsoring brands involved are, in alphabetical order: The inaugural sponsors are, in alphabetical order, Robin Baron Design, Cosentino, The Howard Elliott Collection, Fabricut, Inc., Global Views, Jaipur Living, Inc., Minka Group, Nathan Anthony, Niermann Weeks, Revel Woods, Seasonal Living, Sherwin-Williams, Signature Kitchen Suite, Stressless, and Universal Furniture.

The 11 featured interior designers are, in alphabetical order: Carla Aston, Robin Baron, Arianne Bellizaire, Jeanne Khoe Chung, Gloribell LeBron, Ariana Afshar Lovato, Rachel Moriarty, Laura Muller, Veronica Solomon, Erika Hollinshead Ward, and Michelle Jennings - Wiebe.

The free professionally produced YouTube event launch event will be hosted by Luann Nigara, founder of the USA’s most popular podcast for interior designers, A Well Designed Business.

Luann will take viewers from around the world on a sneak peek tour of the Showhouse which will start outside with a virtual party at the pool/outdoor entertaining area, designed by Los Angeles based, Laura Muller of Four Point Design Build.

Luann will then help our viewers understand how to use the Showhouse’s navigation tools so they will be able to view and shop the entire Showhouse on their own, when it debuts in the pages of a Special Showhouse Edition of Seasonal Living Magazine that will go live at the end of the YouTube party.

After the navigation HOW TO segment, Luann will take viewers on a sneak peek tour of 5 of the Showhouse rooms, where the wellness and flexibility ideas viewers can implement in their own homes will be highlighted. Some of the designers themselves will also talk about their design ideas.

A special cocktail recipe has been developed for the party, called #MarbleOverSilk, that we hope viewers from home will make ahead of time.

The registration link for the live YouTube party is https://bit.ly/DesignerShowhouse

On the day of the event at 12 pm ET, the registration link will redirect to a new landing page, where everyone registered will see the link to join the YouTube event, which will begin at 6 pm ET.

Gary Pettitt, founder of the Virtual Showhouse, had this to say, “Every major undertaking takes teamwork, and I would like to thank Leslie Carothers, CEO of Savour Partnership, the other principal in this project, for her tireless dedication to executing on every facet of this project with me.

In addition, I would like to thank the rendering team headed by Jenna Gaidusek, CEO of edesigntribe.com. Her rendering artists, Sarah Durnez and Annilee Waterman, have done a spectacular job of bringing my vision to life and I cannot wait for the world to see its debut on Thursday, Dec. 3rd, at 6 pm ET.

Lastly, like any significant project, this would not have been possible without the support of our incredible Showhouse Sponsors and the amazing dream-team luxury designers who have made this all a reality. We are truly grateful to each and every one of them for their participation and support.”
