The building that currently houses Delaware’s Jessop Tavern was originally constructed in 1674. By 1724, the building was home to a cooper named Abraham Jessop who also ran his business from the building. Throughout the revolution and the years that followed, the building changed purposes and owners several times until it became a tavern dedicated to honoring colonial America. This wide plank wire brushed distressed engineered white oak has a rich brown color that would make any space feel more relaxing.
