The neighborhood of Belmont was developed around Portland, Oregon’s first trolley line in 1888. It was one of the earliest settled areas in the city and the final resting place of some of Portland’s first settlers. This neighborhood is famous for its love of the arts and even has a still-working video rental store, although it’s now more of a museum to obscure films. This dark colored 3 1/4” solid smooth maple gives a traditional flare to a very modern look, much like the neighborhood of Belmont itself.
