Manitoulin Island is the largest freshwater lake island in the world, so large in fact, the lake island has some of its own lakes. Located of the northern coast of Lake Huron, Manitoulin is considered sacred by the native Anishinaabe. Archeological discoveries have also found evidence of cultures living on the island dating as far back as 10,000 BCE. This 3 1/4” smooth solid birch has a dark brown color that feel right at home in any traditional or modern setting.
